October 14, according to the decree of the President of Ukraine, the Day of the Defender of Ukraine is celebrated. The date of October 14 was chosen not accidentally, because on this day there is a great Orthodox holiday – the Protection of the Holy Virgin.
Also, since 1999, an important date in the calendar of holidays was called the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks. It is on this day that the creation of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army is celebrated.
Day of the defender of Ukraine is a holiday of our strong and brave men – husbands, fathers, brothers and sons, whose strong shoulder and Cossack will support us every day. Let them be healthy and full of optimism!
